Schedule of rates prepared by the Association for guidance in the hiring out of plant

The SPOA has prepared a schedule on the basis of a survey of rates obtained in the Industry in Spring 1999. This schedule is not represented as containing rates which will necessary be economic in the context of any individual member's business and, in particular, because of rapidly escalating capital and operating costs, the rates contained in it are not necessarily those which will remain economic during the currency of this particular edition.

The schedule does not constitute a recommendation to members, and is issued for information only. Members are free to charge such rates as they see fit.
