A great time at the SPOA’s Annual Golf Day!

A great time was had by all at the recently held SPOA Annual Golf Day, which took place on September 4th at Kings Golf Club in Inverness.

Great team spirit, and of course a healthy dose of competition, was shown by the 26 golfers who came along. There were seven teams in total from SPOA members Field and Forest Machinery, Jarvie Plant, Gordon Bow Plant Hire, Simply Asset Finance, GAP Group, HRN and a joint team made up of players from Bspoke Solutions and AB2000.

The Golf Day was sponsored by HRN. Managing Director of HRN and finishing second was Darren Gilmour, who said: “We were thrilled to sponsor this year’s SPOA Golf Day. It was fantastic to see the industry come together in such a relaxed setting, celebrating the people behind the machines and enjoying some friendly competition on one of Scotland’s finest courses.”

David Jarvie, President of the SPOA, added: “The Annual Golf Day is always a calendar highlight, and this year did not disappoint. Thanks to everyone who came along and to HRN for sponsoring. It can be difficult to take time out to attend events like this, but it is well worth it to maintain those connections and relationships with fellow businesses in the plant industry.”

Look out for the next SPOA event, which is the Clay Shooting Competition at Kirkcaldy on November 14th. Tickets are already on sale – click here to get yours!
