ScotPlant 2020 rescheduled for September

SCOTPLANT 2020 is rescheduled due to the escalating coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

The biennial showcase event for the Scottish plant industry was due to take place at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, on April 24 & 25.

However, after monitoring events closely in recent days, including plans to curtail mass gathering events in Scotland and growing concern around the spread of the virus, organiser Peebles Media Group has made the decision to postpone the show.

The SPOA are pleased to be able to confirm that ScotPlant 2020 will now take place on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September..

ScotPlant sales manager Mark Griston said, “We appreciate that this decision will have an impact on travel plans and schedules. However, the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone participating in ScotPlant has to be our number one priority. By moving the event to an alternative date, we are confident that we will be able to deliver the same fantastic experience as always, rather than risk uncertainty by holding it in April when the coronavirus situation could still be unclear. We will carry forward existing stands at the same size and position in the showground as well as any service orders that have already been placed.”

The SPOA looks forward to attending the event in September, we encourage everyone to pull together over the coming weeks and months to ensure our industry pulls through the current situation and prospers once it's all over.
