Whyte Golf Trophy Results

On Wednesday 16th June 2021 Some 37 members and their guests gathered at Burntisland Golf House Club for the annual SPOA Whyte Golf Trophy competition. With the sun shining down on the players and great views along nearly every hole it was a great day out. 

Member RESULTS:

• Winner of the 2021 SPOA Whyte Golf Trophy - Arthur Shevill of Arvill Plant & Tool Hire, Airdrie
• 2nd Place Member  – Russell Wilson of Jarvie Plant, Grangemouth

Visitor results:

• 1st Place – Ron Napier with GAP Group
• 2nd Place – Iain Ross with Landscapes and Contracts
• 3rd Place – Bobby Pettigrew with Arvill Plant & Tool Hire
• Nearest the pin on the 5th – Craig Leishman with Gordon Bow Plant Hire
• Nearest the pin on the 17th – Martin Smith with AB2K
• Longest drive on the 11th – Bill Lee with Strathore Plant Hire

Thanks to the members and their guests for their participation in the White Trophy competition yesterday. The competition is a long-standing event in the SPOA calendar, it was a pleasure for both myself and John Sibbald “VP” to see attendance was up 54% on 2019 which shows real promise and as you'll notice from the results nearly every team won a prize of some sort.
